PCSO’s Update

We have launched an investigation following a business burglary at The Premier Inn store, Hardwick Road, Eynesbury at just after 03:00 hours this morning, Monday, January 15th. In this offence, the offenders have smashed through the front door of the store, which was closed at the time, and have stolen a large quantity of cigarettes from behind the counter.

The offenders are described as:-
A white male wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black Trainers. This male was carrying a large dark coloured holdall.
The second male was wearing a grey jacket and dark trousers. There are a number of lines of enquiry that our officers will be following up in order to identify those responsible for this offence.

Location: Rampton Road, Willingham

Description: Between stated times and dates unknown offenders have gained entry into a white Ford Fiesta at offence location. A laptop which was left in the drivers foot well was stolen.

A couple of success stories :-

Firstly, after two burglaries at Hire or Buy, Great North Road, Little Paxton in which power tools were taken on Thursday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 9th, we have charged a 40 year old male from Stevenage in connection with these offences. The suspect in this case was identified following the discovery of forensic evidence at the scene. The male has been remanded in custody.

In a separate case, we received a call to Xtreme 360, Little End Road, St. Neots on Saturday, January 13th following an alarm activation at the location. Multiple officers were dispatched to the scene and 1 suspect was arrested in connection with this matter. The investigation is ongoing and so far, we have charged a 32 year old male from Northampton in relation to this matter. He has also been charged with a criminal damage at The Fitness Forge, also at Little End Road on the same evening.
