The front door knocked again shortly afterwards, this time, 4 males have entered the property with their faces covered before stealing jewellery and money.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone who believes that they may have seen or heard any suspicious people or vehicles is asked to call police on 101, to contact us via web chat at http://ow.ly/KzZd30hzWQN quoting CF0005720118. We are also asking anyone in the area to check private CCTV and Dash cam footage that may not have been captured in initial house to house enquiries.

If you aren’t sure who is at your door, don’t open it. Check the identity of the caller by calling the company they are claiming to be from. Use the telephone numbers listed in your local directory, not the number provided by the caller – they may be bogus.
