PCSO’s Update

Banks End, Wyton – Sometime between 10:00 am on Friday 15th and 06:00 am on Tuesday 19th July, a caravan was stolen from its site in a secure enclosure near the Hartford Marina. The offenders removed a wheel clamp and a hitch-lock in order to steal the caravan, which is a Lunar Delta RS.

A14 Westbound – Just after 6:00 am on Sunday morning, 17th July, police stopped two males who had been seen walking along the A14 towards Huntingdon, one of whom was carrying a guitar. It emerged that they had travelled from Hungary with no valid travel documents, and they were arrested for immigration offences.

Weir Road, Hemingford Grey – Sometime between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm on Tuesday 19th July, a double-glazed window in a door at the rear of a house on Weir Road was damaged in a possible attempt by unknown persons to gain entry to the property. No other damage was done or any other offences committed.

Goretree Road, Hemingford Grey – Just after 09:00 am on Tuesday 19th, police were called to a road traffic collision at the junction of Goretree road and Manor Road involving two cars. No injuries were reported but recovery service were needed to tow one of the damaged vehicles away. The scene was clear by 10:30 am.

Houghton Lock – Just after 5:00 pm on Tuesday 19th July, police were called to Houghton Lock following a report of a large number of young people larking around in the water and jumping off the bridge, obstructing boats trying to use the lock. Officers spoke to the young people and gave advice about the dangers of playing around in the river and obstructing boats.

Unknown offender(s) have taken two hanging baskets which were hung either side of the front door.
