PCSO’s Update

In the past 24hrs, in the Histon sector, the following relevant crime has been reported to the police.

Between the 03/07/2016 and the 04/07/2016 unknown offenders have gained entry into a garage in Iceni Way, Orchard Park and have removed 3 bicycles.

Between the 01/07/2016 and the 04/07/2016 unknown offenders have gained entry into an insecure garage and have damaged a wooden door which leads to an adjoining shed. Nothing is believed to be stolen. This occurred in Mitchcroft Road, Longstanton.

Between the 30/06/2016 and the 04/07/2016 unknown offenders have gained entry into a shed on Station Road, Willingham and have stolen an electric strimmer.

Overnight on the 04/07/2016 an unknown offender has removed shrub from a front garden in Greenside, Waterbeach.

On the 04/07/2016 unknown offenders have removed two garden strimmer’s from a van which was parked in Church Lane, Willingham.

On the 04/07/2016 unknown offenders have cut a plastic lock which was securing a child’s bike to a front garden fence in Highfield Road, Impington and have stolen the bike.

Between the 22/06/2016 and the 04/07/2016 unknown offenders have damaged a wooden door frame and padlocks to a derelict property in Station Road, Histon.

On the 01/07/2016 between 16:00hrs-17:00hrs unknown offenders have drawn graffiti on a side wall to a property in Gladeside, Bar Hill.

THEFT FROM SHED/GARAGE ( Mill Road Willingham)

Suspect/s have gained entry to a detached barn and looked through donation tins. Entry gained by forcing doors open. SEcond garage entered which is attached to the house again by forcing doors open. A bike has been stolen and another one has been left behind by the suspects.

Unknown offender has entered shed in rear garden by force to the lock / pir lighting moved not known if items stolen.

Between the material times and dates unknown suspects have cut the padlock off the garage door padlock with unidentified implement and gained entry.

Unknown offender has jemmied padlock from wooden garden shed to gain entry. Not believed anything stolen at time of reporting.

Attempted theft of conveyance ( Scotland Road Dry Drayton )

The aggrieved owns an Ivor Williams 505 HBR Horse trailer – this has been on the perimeter of her property and has a For Sale sign on it and is currently advertised on Gumtree and Ebay Between the stated date and times unknown persons have forced the front doors of the horse trailer open and have also slightly moved the trailer – the doors are now twisted and will not lock and the bolts for the same were dropped under the trailer – the trailer will no longer lock.

Large detached house with access to both sides. entry gained through rear ground floor window. Tidy search of premises. Electrical items, small amount of cash and jellewery taken. exit point through conservatory door using key left on the inside.

Attempted entry via a ground floor window using a jemmy which leads into a garage. Entry has not been gained as suspects have been disturbed.

THEFT FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE (High Street, Longstanton)

Ford Transit White plain van parked on road, hinge to rear door forced entry gained and property stolen.
