The Green, Houghton – At around 2:30 am in the early hours of Wednesday 29th June, police were called to the village square at Houghton following a report of unruly behaviour by a large group of young people. A police patrol was dispatched and the area around the Square, the Thicket and the Mill was searched. Police spoke to several young people who explained that the disturbances were due to a party that got a bit out of hand. No offences were found to have been committed.
Houghton Grange – Just before 7:00 pm on Wednesday 29th June, police received a report of young people having been seen climbing the fence into the grounds of Houghton Grange, throwing stones and attempting to climb through windows. Police attended the site and found three teenage boys, who were taken back to their homes and spoken to severely.
Between the 17/06/2016 and the 29/06/2016 unknown offenders have forced entry into a van which was parked on Butt Lane, Waterbeach and have stolen items from within.
Between the 24/06/2016 and the 25/06/2016 unknown offenders have removed the headlights from a green Land Rover which was parked on Lairstall Drove, Swavesey.
On the 28/06/2016 unknown offenders have rammed the gates at the Electricity Sub Station, Denny End Road, Waterbeach and have stolen building/gardening equipment from 3 work vehicles.
