PCSO’s Update

In the early hours of Saturday morning between around 0415 and 0435 (3rd of March) there was a ram raid at the Co-Operative store on Church Street in Gamlingay. Offenders have attended the site in at least two vehicles, a stolen white LANDROVER DEFENDER N518BVW and another, sportier hatchback. Offenders have used an angle grinder to cut free two metal bollards in front of the store before reversing the stolen Landrover into the front of the store to disable the doors. Once disabled, offenders have removed the standalone cash point and have smashed it open to remove the cash cassette within. Offenders have then made off in the direction of POTTON in a vehicle of high power leaving the Landrover at the scene.

If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious or out of the ordinary please call 101 quoting reference number CF0116910318.
