Date Occurred: 29/01/2018 02:00 – 29/01/2018 02:00 Location: Chambers Drive, Orchard Park Description: Unknown offender(s) had attempted to gain access to property during the hours of darkness using a sharp implement and smashing a window. A set of keys were stolen from the property.

Date Occurred: 28/01/2018 22:00 – 29/01/2018 07:00 Location: Trinity College, Cambridge Science Park, Milton Description: Unknown offender(s) have smashed the rear driver’s side window to a black Toyota Yaris and gained entry. Expensive camera equipment has been stolen from within the vehicle.  Date Occurred: 29/01/2018 11:09 – 29/01/2018 11:09

Location: Normanton Way, Histon Description: Entry has been forced through the conservatory door of the address, and an untidy search has been conducted. Nothing is believed to have been stolen at this time.

Date Occurred: 29/01/2018 21:30 – 29/01/2018 21:40 Location: Cody Road, Waterbeach Description: Unknown Offenders driving a white van have been witnessed stealing ladders from a Volkswagen Transporter.

Date Occurred: 29/01/2018 18:00 – 30/01/2018 05:45 Location: Winship Road, Milton Description: During the hours of darkness, unknown offender(s) have forced entry into a work premises by hack sawing through the gates. Nothing is believed to be stolen at this time.

A141 Hartford / Warboys – Police received a report of a car being driven very erratically and dangerously on the A141 between Hartford and Warboys, on Tuesday afternoon 23rd January. The car was followed to Chatteris where it stopped and officers were able to carry out a road-side breath test for alcohol, which gave such a high result that the driver was taken directly to hospital. Potton Road, Hilton – Police received a report of suspected hare-coursers or poachers in an off-road vehicle on fields near Potton Road, Hilton, on Tuesday evening, 23rd January. However, although a patrol was dispatched to search the area, the suspicious vehicle could not be found. (Ref CC-23012018-0427)

Lattenbury Hill, A1198 – A lorry driver parked up for the night in a layby on the A1198 at Lattenbury Hill reported being woken by suspicious noises from the back of his vehicle shortly after midnight early on Wednesday morning, 24th January. When he investigated, a car drove off at speed. However, the lorry was not broken into and nothing was taken. (Ref CC-24012018-0007)

A141 / A1123 Hartford Roundabout – Police needed to tow away a broken-down car which had been abandoned near the Hartford Roundabout on Wednesday morning, 24th January, as it was half on the carriageway and causing an obstruction to traffic. (Ref CC-24012018-0144)

Gore Tree Road, Hemingford Grey – Police received a call reporting that a vehicle had driven onto farmland off Gore Tree Road, Hemingford Grey, at some time overnight on Tuesday 23rd / Wednesday 24th January, leaving deep tyre tracks and damaging crops. A padlock securing a farm gate had also been broken and removed. (Ref CF0047150118)

A1123 Hartford – Police were called to a collision involving a lorry and a van on the A1123 at Hartford on Thursday afternoon, 25th January. When routine checks were made, the van was found to have no valid insurance, so police arranged for it to be seized and towed away. (Ref CC-25012018-0235)
