PCSO’s Update

On Monday 8th January 2018 we have had a house burglary in Great Gransden where a home was broken into and an Audi has been stolen from the driveway, on the same day an attempted house break in has occurred in Great Staughton.

Be aware of suspicious activity in your village and please remember if it doesn’t seem quite right it probably isn’t, Please call it in on 101 or 999.

We have had 2 house burglaries since New Years Day, these have been in Kimbolton and Great Paxton. Please be vigilant and make sure that all valuables are securely away and out of sight. If you suspect that something is not quite right in the village then it probably isn’t, call 101 or 999 in an emergency.

I have also received a call about a possible bogus caller in Buckden, who stated he was a meter reader from Gazprom, he could not produce any identification but still managed to convince the owners to let him in. Luckily the owners suspected something was not quite right due to not having any utility agreement with Gazprom and ejected the male.
Again please report all suspicious activity in or around your villages.
