PCSO’s Update

St Ives Road, Hilton – A house undergoing renovation on St Ives Road, Hilton, was broken into at some time between Wednesday afternoon, 27th, and Thursday morning, 28th December. Intruders damaged a door getting into the building but at the moment it is not known what may have been taken. The offenders also broke into an outbuilding and a builders’ shed on the site, which is quite secluded. Investigations are continuing. (Ref CF0747171217)

Houghton Road, Houghton – Police received a call reporting a car in the ditch on Houghton Road, Houghton, at 4:45 pm on New Year’s Eve, Sunday 31st December, with no sign of any driver or passenger. When officers arrived they arranged for recovery services to pull it out and tow it away whilst the registered owner was traced. (Ref CC-31122017-0237)
