PCSO’s Update

On the 31/05/2016 between 20:00-21:00hrs unknown offender(s) have gained entry to a property in Cootes Lane, Fen Drayton by smashing the  patio door glass. Offender(s) have then conducting an untidy search of the property and stolen a black Volkswagon which was parked on the driveway.

THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE (Thornhill Place, Longstanton)

Unknown offender/s have smashed the driver side window of a silver Nissan van and damaged the ignition, believed that offender/s were trying to steal the vehicle itself, nothing stolen from inside.

Theft (The Orchard, Fen Drayton)

Unknown offender/s have forced the locking mechanism in the door handle of the garage door on THE ORCHARD and forced the door up, where a chainsaw has been stolen from the entrance and a grass box from the garage has been left outside on the ground. Victim thinks the offender/s have been disturbed as nothing else taken.

Burglary Non-Dwelling (Daniels Close, Willingham)

Between the dates and times mentioned an unknown person(s) have gained access to the building site which is gated. They have then tried to gain access to plot 6 via a front window. It appears they have used some sort of tool to try and pry the window open but have not been successful, they have also tried to remove a fuel cap from a mini digger by using something to force the lock but they have been unsuccessful doing this also

Police have responded to a criminal damage to a dwelling. On conducting an area search for the suspect, he has made off and given chase. On being detained the suspect has produced a small amount of herbal cannabis
