Date Occurred: 20/08/2017 20:00 – 21/08/2017 06:30 Location: Old School Lane, Milton Description: An unknown offender has smashed the front nearside window of a Vauxhall Corsa whilst parked at offence location. A bag containing a camera lens was stolen.

Date Occurred: 20/08/2017 16:00 – 21/08/2017 07:00 Location: The Sycamores, Milton
Description: An unknown offender has smashed a window of a Mercedes Vito van whilst parked at offence location. A fuel card was stolen.

Date Occurred: 20/08/2017 23:00 – 21/08/2017 06:00 Location: Station Road, Waterbeach Description: Unknown person(s) have smashed the passenger side rear window of a black Ford Fiesta, the Wing mirror was also damaged. 2 rucksacks stolen from the rear seat containing photographic equipment.

Date Occurred: 18/08/2017 18:00 – 21/08/2017 08:00 Location: Cambridgeshire Guided Busway, Swavesey Description: Bike secured at bike rack on guided bus way has had parts stolen over weekend.

Date Occurred: 19/08/2017 20:00 – 21/08/2017 17:00 Location: Longstanton Sports & Social Club, PAVILION Over Road, Longstanton Description: An unknown offender has entered a container at the location however nothing has been stolen.

Date Occurred: 21/08/2017 18:45 – 22/08/2017 08:00 Location: Starr End, Orchard Park Description: An unknown offender has thrown an object at a large circular window next to the front door of an end of terraced property causing the outer pane has shattered.

Date Occurred: 21/08/2017 16:30 – 22/08/2017 07:30 Location: Brook Street, Elsworth
Description: An unknown offender has entered a barn that had been left open and stolen a petrol lawnmower from within.

Banks End, Wyton / The Thicket Road, Houghton – Police are appealing for information following two incidents on Thursday evening, 17th August, in which female runners were assaulted by a man on a bicycle. The victim was running on a public path near the Hartford Marina at around 7:50 pm when a man on a bicycle came up behind her and slapped her with his hand before cycling off. (Ref CF0472880817)

The Thicket – The victim was again a female jogger, running along The Thicket path in the direction of St Ives at around 8:00 pm. She was slapped by a man who came past her on a bicycle from behind. The man stopped and spoke to her when she challenged him, and then is presumed to have ridden off back towards Houghton. (Ref CF0473040817)
In both cases the man is described as Asian and in his early 20s. Police would like anyone with any information about either of these offences, or any similar incidents that may not have been reported, to contact them, using the 101 non-emergency number or any of the other methods listed at the end of this report.

Houghton Grange, Houghton Hill – Police were called to The Grange on Houghton Hill at around 5:45 pm on Saturday 19th August, following a report of intruders seen breaking into one of the disused buildings. An initial search was carried out, but the buildings have been heavily vandalised over several years and no new damage could be made out and no unauthorised people were found in the grounds. Some of the buildings on the site contain asbestos and are unsafe to enter. (Ref CC-19082017-0424)

A14 Westbound Galley Hill – Police had to close the westbound A14 for a short time on Sunday morning, 20th August, to deal with an incident in which a van appeared to have driven the wrong way down a slip road and was facing the wrong way down the carriageway. (Ref CC-20082017-0210)
