PCSO’s Update 2

1 Theft from a motor vehicle
Occurred:17/06/2016 17:00 – 20/06/2016 14:30 Location: Blackstone Road, Huntingdon
unknown offender/s have gone to the offence location climbed over fencing to get into a secure yard, stolen a barbecue and stole the front and rear number plate from a Ford Transit Van YT64FNX which were screwed on.

1Theft of a motor vehicle
Occurred:20/06/2016 22:45 – 21/06/2016 06:30 Location: Provence Road, Huntingdon
Unknown offender/s has gained entry to the victims van, a WHITE  MERCEDES SPRINTER 313 DCI which was parked at the owners property. The offender/s have then stolen the van.

1 Burglary in a dwelling
Occurred:25/06/2016 19:00 – 25/06/2016 23:00 Location: Brigland Close, Huntingdon
Unknown offender/s have force entry to the rear window of the property and removed cash from within and searched the upstairs of the house.

1 Burglary other than in a dwelling
Occurred: 24/06/2016 17:30 – 27/06/2016 07:45 Location: High Street, Huntingdon
Unknown offender/s have used a blunt instrument to prise open a single pane window. An untidy search of all drawers and cupboards was made. 5 laptops,  mobile phone and Ipads were taken. Serial numbers are available.

1 Burglary (shed/garage)
Occurred:26/06/2016 16:30 – 27/06/2016 08:30 Location: High Street, Huntingdon
Unknown offender/s have gained access to the rear of the store the offender/s have gone through bins and the donation areas of the store and also tried to force open a shed.

Security

As the days are longer and the weather is warmer please do remember to lock all doors and close all windows before leaving your homes. If you have a pet and for this reason you would leave windows open, please use a fan rather than leaving windows open.

You may choose to cycle to and from work in this nice weather, please leave your pedal cycles in a secure place (inside if possible) and lock it with a strong lock. Opportunists may choose to remove your bike if left insecure.
