PCSO’s Update

Between Thursday 4th at 17:00 and Sunday 7th at 11:45, a cycle has been stolen from the driveway to a property in Red Admiral Court. The cycle was a White and Black CARRERA Gents Mountain Bike.

Between Friday 5th at 19:10 and Sunday 7th at 18:45, a cycle has been stolen in Skipper Way. The cycle was a Red MUDDY FOX and had been chained to some railings in the Car Park.

Houghton Grange, Houghton Hill – Security staff at the derelict Houghton Grange site on Houghton Hill discovered that thieves entered the estate through a gap in the fence at some time between Friday evening 5th May and Tuesday morning 9th May. Once inside the site, the intruders unscrewed and stole 15 sheets of plywood used for boarding up doors and windows. This is thought to have taken a considerable time as each sheet had up to 16 screws attaching it to the building.

St Ives Road, Hemingford Grey – The wing mirror of a white Dacia car, left parked on its owner’s drive outside a house on St Ives Road, was damaged by an unknown vandal at some time overnight on Sunday 14th / Monday 15th May.

The Green, Hilton – A thief stole power tools from the back of a contractor’s van that was parked outside a property undergoing renovation on The Green, Hilton, at around midday on Monday 15th May. A suspect was seen to approach the van and then observed walking away from it with the tools under his arm. Investigations are on-going.

Glebe Road / Weir Road – Around midday, Wednesday 10th May – residents on these roads reported a small blue Vauxhall van seen driving slowly around the area with two occupants, possible Asian, thought to be looking into houses and gardens. The registration number was passed to police for checking.

Unknown offenders have gained access to a business premises by damaging a roller shutter door and have then stolen items.

Description: An unknown offender has forced open a garage door, it appears nothing has been stolen.

Description: An unknown offender has stolen a black and white striped hybrid Carrera Crossfire from Wolfson Court in Girton.

Description: An unknown offender has smashed a rear window to a blue Ford Fiesta van and stolen a rucksack.

Description: An unknown offender has forced entry into a van and stolen tools from within.

Description: An unknown offender has smashed a rear windscreen and gain access to a Mercedes. A ski jacket was removed.

Description: An unknown offender has broken a downstairs window to gain access and conducted an untidy search. We are not sure if anything has been taken at this time.

Description: An unknown offender has smashed a front passenger window to a Vauxhall Corsa, nothing has been removed.

Description: An unknown offender has removed the front and rear number plates from a stationary parked vehicle.

Description: An unknown offender has smashed the nearside quarter window on a stationary parked vehicle, nothing believed to have been taken.

Date Occurred: 18/05/2017 00:40 Location: Roseberry Tourist Park, Earith Road, Willingham
Description: Unknown offender/s have gained entry on the site by removing two metal posts and cutting a tree down. A caravan has been stolen.

An offender has attempted to force open the window to a conservatory whilst the victim was at home. The victim’s dog has heard this and the offender has made off before being able to cause damage or steal any property. Occupants of what is being described as a black Audi hatchback were seen behaving in a suspicious manner on the day before (Sunday) in the same area by the neighbor of the victim.

An unknown offender has pulled open a downstairs window of a flat whilst the victim was at home. The victim heard a loud noise so has gone to check what was going on and has discovered that a safety latch has been damaged on a window. No entry has been gained.

Offenders have smashed a window to gain access to a vehicle and have stolen tools from within.

Offender has entered an insecure vehicle taking a wallet from within.

Offender has forced entry to a van taking tools from within.

Description: Unknown offender has broken into a Renault Traffic Master and have have stolen several tools from the rear.

Description: Unknown offender has used unknown means to cut through chain link fencing that runs along the left hand back garden boundary and has thrown parts of the fencing into informants back garden at Short Lane, Willingham.

Description: Unknown offender has stolen a silver Claude-Butler ladies hybrid cycle from Histon guided bus way.

Description: Unknown offender has used unknown means to jemmy open the side door to victims stand alone garage close to a detached property in Bannold Road, Waterbeach. Entry gained and a untidy search conducted. We are unaware what may have been stolen at this time.

Description: Unknown offender has smashed the rear passenger window to a black Peugeot 208. It is believed that they have then reached into the boot and have stolen property.
