Date occurred: 06/02/2017 17:00 – 07/02/2017 07:00 Location: High Street, Over Description: Unknown offender has open the rear window on a stationary parked vehicle and stolen an angle grinder.

Date Occurred: 06/02/2017 between 22:37 and 22:44 Location: Industrial Estate, Viking Way, Bar Hill Description: Unknown person/s have forced entry to a factory and taken a small amount of copper.

Date Occurred: 06/02/2017 17:30 – 07/02/2017 08:00 Location: Industrial Estate, Scotland Road, Dry Drayton Description: Unknown person/s have forced entry to one of the units and taken a small amount of cash.

Date Occurred: 06/02/2017 16:00 – 07/02/2017 07:30 Location: Station Road, Histon Description: Unknown offender/s have broken into a cabin and taken a radio and keys to a forklift.

A14 Westbound, Galley Hill – Police were called to a collision between a car and a van on the westbound A14 at Galley Hill, just before 2:00 pm on Thursday 2nd February. An ambulance was called but fortunately no serious injuries were reported and although one lane of the road was blocked for a time, recovery services were not required.

A14 Eastbound, Hemingford Abbots – Just after 5:00 pm on Thursday 2nd February, police received a call from an elderly lady whose car had broken down on the eastbound A14 near Hemingford Abbots and who sounded very frightened and confused. Several calls were also received from concerned motorists reporting the same incident – the lady had been seen walking unsteadily along the side of the road, and her car was partially in the live lane, posing a hazard to traffic. Police advised the lady to stay near her vehicle to await the arrival of the AA, and a passing lorry driver also stopped to stay with her until police arrived. Happily, the incident ended safely.

Potton Road, Hilton – Police were called to a collision between a car and a van at crossroads on Potton Road, Hilton, at 5:20 pm on Thursday 2nd February. An ambulance was initially called as one person was reported injured, but this was subsequently found not to be needed. However, the road was blocked for a time until recovery services were able to remove both crashed vehicles, by about 7:15 pm. One driver was reported for driving without due care and attention.

Banks End, Wyton – Police and ambulance crews were called to a road incident at Banks End, Wyton, at 9:20 am on Saturday 4th February. A male cyclist in his late 50s had been discovered lying unconscious on the ground as if having fallen off his bike, although no cause was immediately apparent. Police stopped traffic and diverted buses whilst medical teams carried out triage at the scene, before the man was taken by ambulance to hospital suffering from a suspected heart condition. Road closures and traffic diversions were lifted by 1:00 pm. The latest information available states that the man received emergency treatment in hospital to stabilise his condition.

Banks End, Wyton – On Saturday 4th January, police received a report of the theft of a large piece of electrical equipment from a boat moored in a boatyard at Banks End. The thief boarded the boat at an unknown date and time and removed the item from an unlocked metal storage compartment at the front. Enquiries into the theft are continuing.

06/02/2017 17:00 – 07/02/2017 07:00 High Street, Over, CB24 5NB Queens Close, Over, CB24 5NN Offenders have stolen tools from 2 vehicles, owned by the same company, whilst parked in different locations in the village.

06/02/2017 19:00 – 06/02/2017 21:00 Swavesey Village College, Gibraltar Lane, Swavesey Offenders have stolen a mobile phone from a bag at Swavesey village college.

07/02/2017 18:00 – 07/02/2017 21:00 Flack End, Orchard Park Offender has cut a fence to steal a bike that was locked to it.
