PCSO’s Update

Ware Lane, Wyton – Wednesday 3rd May, 6:30 pm – a grey Audi was seen driving slowly in the Ware Lane area of Wyton, with the occupants seeming to be looking down the driveways of houses. The car entered one driveway before backing out again, then parked up further down the road. A police patrol later searched the area, but the car was no longer there.

Galley Hill – Thursday 4th May, 11:30 pm – three young males, possibly teenagers, were seen on farm premises at Galley Hill, presumed to have entered the site from across the fields. They ran off following a warning given over a loudspeaker system.

Mill Lane, Hemingford Grey, Saturday morning, 6th May – Police received two reports of a suspicious white Transit van seen outside a house on Mill Lane. A police patrol located the vehicle and spoke to the occupants, who explained their reason for being at the house in question, which turned out to be quite innocent.

Shed burglary at Stone Hill, Loves Lane, St. Neots. This occurred at some time between Saturday 29th April at 18:00 hours and Sunday 30th April at 09:15 hours. In this offence, unknown offenders have broken into the shed and have stolen two mobility scooters. One was later found close to the victim’s house and the other was found dumped in a ditch on Cambridgeshire Road, opposite the junction of Loves Lane – damaged beyond repair with the batteries stolen. The combined value of these scooters is in excess of £3000.00. This is a despicable crime against a resident that requires his mobility scooters to assist him in getting around.

Date Occurred: 09/05/2017 19:30 – 10/05/2017 07:45 Location: Mead View, Oakington And Westwick Description: Both index plates have been removed from a black Peugeot 206, black, whilst parked on a driveway at offence location.

Description: An unknown offender have forced entry onto a building site, it is not known at this time what has been stolen.

Description: An unknown offender has been broken into a shed by cutting the locks off. Various power tools were stolen.

 

Date Occurred: 09/05/2017 23:35 – 09/05/2017 23:45 Location: Impington Village College, New Road, Impington, Description: Three unknown suspects have forced entry into offence location by smashing a glass door. It appears nothing was stolen at this time.

Description:
An unknown offender has gained entry into a Volkswagen Polo and stolen a laptop which was under the driver’s seat.

Date Occurred: 11/05/2017 20:05 – 12/05/2017 07:35 Location: Hollyoak Veterinary Surgery, St Georges Way, Impington Description: Unknown offender/s have damaged the front shutter and door to gain entry into the premises. Unknown if anything has been taken.

Date Occurred: 10/05/2017 16:00 – 11/05/2017 14:40 Location: Histon and Impington Recreation Ground, New Road, Impington Description: Unknown offender has caused damage to fence panel boardering the perimeter of the Histon and Impington Parish Council.

11/05/2017 20:05 – 12/05/2017 07:35 St Georges Way, Impington Suspects have entered a business premisis, and been through the whole place, taking petty cash.

11/05/2017 16:30 – 11/05/2017 23:00 Station Road, Waterbeach Suspects have stolen a secured bike from Waterbeach train station.

05/05/2017 19:00 – 07/05/2017 21:00 Engledow Drive, Orchard Park Suspects have cut a tyre of a car parked at location.

11/05/2017 22:10 – 11/05/2017 22:10 Foxhollow, Bar Hill Suspects have attempted to force a rear patio door.

12/05/2017 12:30 – 12/05/2017 13:40 St Catharines Road, Impington
Suspect has smashed a window of a vehicle and stolen 2 bags from the passenger footwell.

11/05/2017 22:40 – 12/05/2017 07:45 The Mall, Bar Hill
Suspects have forced entry to business premises and taken cash.

09/05/2017 15:00 – 12/05/2017 09:00 High Street, Boxworth
Offenders have forced the lock on a transit van in an attempt to break in.
