This week’s A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon closures;

Closures for the A428 are from 22 January, for two weeks, Monday to Friday only, from 9pm – 6am, as follows: (there will be gate men on site to escort locals to their properties).
Closure 1 is from Eaton Socon to Barford road in both directions with the main diversion down the A1 Northbound to Alconbury and then to join the A14 Eastbound, there will also be a local diversion around St Neots in place for residents.
Closure 2 is from Barford road to B1428 Cambridge road in both directions, again the main diversion route will be along the A1 Northbound to Alconbury and then to join the A14 Eastbound. With a local diversion around St Neots in place for residents.
Closure 3 is from B1428 Cambridge road to Eltisley crossroads B1040 St Ives road in both directions, again the main diversion route will be along the A1 Northbound to Alconbury and then to join the A14 Eastbound. A local diversion will be in place around for residents, gatemen will be on site to escort the residents to their homes.
Closure 4 is from Eltisley crossroads to Caxton Gibbett in both directions, again the main diversion route is along the A1 Northbound to Alconbury and then to join the A14 Eastbound. With a local diversion route in place for residents,
These works are due to take 11 shifts to complete, it is for vegetation clearance, sign erection and white lining.
